About I AM.
I AM is Ryan Elliott Dennis's coaching framework, informed by biblical wisdom about discernment, stewardship, service, and a well-lived life. Lessons use everyday language. You choose your own values and goals.
Journalist firstPlain wordsHi, I’m Ryan.
I started in broadcast journalism. Now I help technology companies find the story they can prove, and tell it plainly.
“My faith shapes how I work: truthfulness, service, stewardship. You don’t need to share it to work with me.”
Where it comes from.
Ryan’s design foundation is Christian wisdom, including themes associated with Solomon, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. I AM turns it into practical principles: discernment, honest speech, stewardship, service, patience, counsel, boundaries, sustainable effort, care in relationships, and knowing what is enough.
You do not need to share Ryan’s faith to take part or to do well. The default journey uses everyday language, with no scripture and no devotional steps.
If you would like faith language, you can turn it on yourself in Settings. It is never guessed from your answers and never scored, and Ryan sees only the choice itself, so he can respect it.
AI is optional.
AI stays off unless Ryan connects an AI service and you turn it on. Until then, and whenever you prefer, the organizer does the drafting: plain code that rearranges your own words, says where each one came from, and leaves gaps visible. It never adds a fact.
When AI is on, it is a drafting helper. It works only from the answers you allow, cites them, and offers a draft you can approve, edit, reject or keep private. It is not Ryan and not a clinician, and it never decides anything for you.
Feedback always says who wrote it: Ryan, or an AI draft that Ryan edited and chose to send.
A personality reflection, if you want one.
I AM offers the 50-item Big Five markers from the International Personality Item Pool, a public-domain source. Tested code scores your answers from the published key. A model never guesses a score.
You see raw totals with their range and plain explanations. Traits are tendencies that shift with context, not types, labels or forecasts, and the results are not a diagnosis. Skipping it never blocks anything.
What I AM is not.
- Not therapy, counseling or a crisis service.
- Not a diagnosis, and not a verdict on your personality.
- Not a promise of income, confidence or any other result.
- Not a public profile. Nothing you write becomes public on its own.
- Not certified or endorsed by any other program.
